the Flowers ...
What began as landscaping with color, texture, shape; planting each bulb, tuber, and seeds, evolved to photographing them (because the blooms never last long enough) for reference in art became the art itself. Each year brought more flowers and more photographs and in turn more flowers. It slowly, through the years, turned into a project series that blossomed (pun intended) and the series continues to grow (more pun intended).
